The city of Barcelona is unbelievable for skateboarding. There are so many skate spots. At every corner there is some variety of ledge, handrail, bump, or bank. Unlike Los Angeles, these spots are actually easily skate-able without being hassled by security.
The thing I like about street skating is that it is imperfect. Whether it’s an inconveniently placed crack or rough concrete landing, even the best skate spots are plagued with imperfections. It’s these imperfections that make it so much more rewarding to successfully ride away from a trick.
