There is something serene about climbing above the urban jungle of downtown Los Angeles. On the rooftop, I feel like I can finally have some peace of mind. No crowds. No hustle and bustle. Even the city’s evening rush hour traffic seems distant from this vantage point.

This past Wednesday marks the first day of Fall. Los Angeles is still pretty warm during the day, but the evenings can get cooler. I like to layer a nice leather jacket over my outfit to complete the look.
Last weekend was the actual last weekend of the Summer. With the temperatures in the hundreds, I couldn’t think of a better way than to spend it at Venice Beach.
