I love Vegas! Nevermind the fact that I lose money every time I come here. There is something about this little desert oasis that keeps me coming back, even if it means making the 4 hour+ drive from LA. This time, we decided to venture away from the strip for our morning culinary needs and stumbled upon this gem. The Egg and I, is a restaurant nestled in an old strip mall. While it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the food itself was excellent. The french toast was thick and fluffy. The eggs, perfectly seasoned. The only problem is that I will have a hard time coming back to my local Denny’s after being exposed to what a real brunch should taste like. By the evening, I hoped to visit the Neon Museum. It’s an empty lot filled with large neon signs of the defunct gambling palaces of yesteryear. Sadly, I arrived after closing and couldn’t enter, but still snuck a glimpse through the gate.
